so i,m on lunch getting a trans-fat/sugar loaded vanilla cream doughnut when my bud from work calls to say they have 5 wii fits at target in westland. we had a deal to pick up an extra one for the other person if we saw one, but they were only selling one per customer :( the doughnut shop was only a mile from the store so i rushed in there and managed to get one of the now 3 remaining wii fits in stock. $95 later i have it, and some guilt about the doughnut.

so the other day i was erasing my ipod (whole other story) and while it was re-syncing i got this in the display. my 30 gig ipod contained 43.74 gig of stuff. more music and free space then its capacity. this may qualify it for TARDIS status! the inside is bigger than the outside. and that is the end of todays random dumbness.

well, last week i ended up getting my new laptop. i got the middle end macbook. 2 ghz, 1 gig ram, blah,blah.... its actually alot better thann i thought it would be. i was wanting a macbook pro because of the video card and non-glossy screen, but wanted the size and portablility of the 13' macbook (not to mention the price!). all in all, the glossy screen has not been HALF AS BAD as i thought. i dont even notice it! the screen is beautiful and the contrast is great. the viewing angle up and down is pretty narrow though. you need to be pretty square with the display to get the right colors. the video card has not been a problem either. i tried out "knights of the old republic" on it and it ran acceptable (in rosetta to boot).

the dvd drive is LOUD. makes 3 loud clicks when i put a disc in. i took it back and they said it was normal. we tried the other macbooks/pros, and all of them did it too. i guess thats the way it is.

keyboard is a bit different too, but i actually like it i think.
the only thing that sucks right now is the color. white is gorgous, but gets very dirty in a factory.
